Jared William Elmore, age 37, of Branson, Missouri, passed away suddenly September 21, 2021. He entered this life October 25, 1983, in Long Beach, California, the son of Stephen and Donna (Jarvis) Elmore.

From both of his parents, Jared inherited a lifelong love for animals and was never without a four-legged pal. He loved spending time with his family and had a special bond with his parents, brothers, and sister. Jared was deeply loved by his nieces and nephews, and he was more than happy to be their personal jungle gym, toss them in the air, or just sit and listen to their stories. He had friends all over the Midwest and East Coast; he lived and worked many places and was a kind soul who was always willing to help those who crossed his path. He will be missed by many.

Jared is preceded in death by his grandparents from his father’s side, Rebecca (McCoin) and Wayne “Popeye” Elmore as well as his grandparents from his mother’s side, Hannah (Thygerson) and Joseph “Papa Joe” Jarvis; maternal uncle, Joseph (Larry) Jarvis; and his beloved canine companions, Molly and Gizmo.

He is survived by his parents, Stephen and Donna Elmore of Branson, Missouri; siblings: Joseph (Si Mone) Elmore of Norfolk, Virginia; Alison (John) Elmore of Centerton, Arkansas; and Kellen Elmore of Branson, Missouri; aunts and uncles: Michael (Xiaosheng) Elmore, Peggy (Edward) Borgatti, Pat Handy, Debbie (David) Hafer, Joyce (Corey) Loudy, and Janet Jarvis; and step-grandmother, Isuara Gonzalez. He is also survived by nieces and nephews: Kyleigh, Kelsey, Rae, Kellen Jr, Kason, and Isaac; two special friends: Jennifer and Nick; extended family and many friends from over the years.

A memorial service is planned for 2:00 p.m. September 28, 2021, At the Church of Jesus Chris of Latter-day Saints, 9113 State Hwy 76, Branson West, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your local shelter or Jared would have been pleased for you to adopt a cat or dog from the shelter.
