Lynda Joyce Weaver, age
73, of Branson, Missouri, passed away January 5, 2021, in Springfield,
Missouri. She entered this life December 6, 1947, in Hanford, California, the
daughter of Ted and Ola (Yates) Owings.
After recently joining the
Jehovah Witness located in Branson, Missouri, Lynda attended Bible studies. She
was known as loving, kind, always smiling, and full of compassion. Most of all,
she loved investing in time with her family. Lynda was especially fond of her
family at the Shepherd of the Hills Nursing Center and considered them as her “family”
away from her family. She will be dearly missed.
Lynda is preceded in death
by her parents; four brothers: Bill Owings, Joe Owings, Bob Owings, and Freddy
Owings; three sisters: Rose Avila, Joelee Raines, and Mary Melleen Brown; husband,
Marion “Buck” Weaver; and daughter, Jeanna Lynn Weaver.
She is survived by her
daughter, Roni Weaver of Windsor Mill, Maryland; grandsons: Dillon Aaron, Mark Beasley,
and Kris Otsuka; three great-grandchildren: Bella Dormin, Brody Dormin, and Jake
Beasley; sister, Teresa Hestand of Greenfield, Missouri; brother, Marion Owings
of Doniphan, Missouri; and many other friends and extended family.
