Dana Marie Swisher, age 52, of Springfield, Missouri,
passed away peacefully December 26, 2020. She was born January 11, 1968, in Ashland,
Oregon, the daughter of Ralph Morton and Linda (Browning) Eugene. Dana was
joined in marriage September 6, 1991, to Jack Swisher.
A kind, happy woman with a memorable smile, Dana enjoyed
nature and loved animals, especially her dogs: Zeus, Casper, and Brownie. She
collected houseplants, dragonflies, frogs, Coca Cola items, and anything with Eeyore.
Dana created many memories looking at Christmas lights, camping, and traveling
to Florida and Branson with her family. Most of all, Dana loved her grandkids
and family, who will cherish her memory and the time they spent with her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers:
Steve Morton and Michael (Eugene) Faler; two sisters: Carolyn (Morton)
Davenport and Brenda (Morton) Johnston; and grandparents: Don and Ruby Browning.
Dana is survived by her husband of 29 years, Jack Swisher;
her children: Cody Browning, Casey Gremmels and husband Devin, and Corey
Swisher and fiancé Elizabeth, all of Springfield, Missouri; and her
grandchildren: Michael, Amelia and Brooklyn Browning, Jaxen and Rylee Land, Avery
and Atticus Gremmels. She is also survived by her brothers: Kim (Hank) Morton,
Jimmy Morton, Allen Morton, Billy (Eugene) Faler, and Thomas (Eugene) Faler;
sister, Darlene (Morton) Wilson; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A private family celebration of life will be held at a
