Raymond “Ray” Seymore Bare Jr., age 77, of Ridgedale, Missouri, passed away Friday, November 24, 2017 in Branson, Missouri. He entered this world on January 12, 1940 in Warsaw, Indiana, the son of Dorothy and Raymond Seymore Bare Sr. Ray was joined together in the eyes of God to Wilma Rasnik on September 26, 2016. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.

A man devoted to his work and family, Ray was a fan of Wisconsin sports teams, especially the Green Bay Packers. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, and hunting. Ray was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. Throughout his life, he focused on loving his family and serving others. 

In 1955, Ray moved to the Madison, Wisconsin, area. He lived in the Milwaukee area before moving to Brookfield, Wisconsin, where he served on the Brookfield Fire Department for thirteen years. He was a salesman for several years before moving to Marshfield, Wisconsin, at which time he worked for ILC Conrath as a sales manager and served on the city council. Ray worked for the Marshfield clinic before retiring in 1995, when he moved to Forsyth, Missouri, and was employed by Conoco in Branson.

He is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Bonnie Bare of 54 years; and a sister, Mary.

Ray is survived by two sons, Jim (Judi) Bare of Marshfield, Wisconsin, and Robert Bare of Stillwater, Minnesota; a daughter, Lisa Bare of Forsyth, Missouri; six grandchildren: Andrew, Kristen, Shannon, Abigail, Jordan and Lucas; five great-grandchildren; his wife, Wilma Rasnik of Ridgedale, Missouri; and longtime part of the family, Kim Bare.
