Mrs. Wanda Piper, age 89 of Bolivar, MO, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2017, in her daughters home.  She was born April 8, 1928, at Weaubleau, MO, to James Earl and Ura (Durnell) Bullington.  She was united in marriage to Roger Efton Piper December 24, 1945, and to this union three children were born. She was saved as a young girl, and was a member of Southside Missionary Baptist Church, the Bolivar Garden Club, and the Bolivar Bowling League.

          She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 43 years Roger Piper; a son in-law James Lucas Hink; three brothers: Gerald, Bransford, and Travis Bullington; and a brother in-law Phil Casey.

          Wanda is survived by her three children: Karon Hink of Kansas City, MO, Sharon Nickle and husband Tom of Bolivar, MO, and Efton Piper and his wife Janice of Republic, MO; six grandchildren: Jimmy Hink, Danny Hink, Craig Breesawitz, Alisha Norman, Jennifer Kobe, Hannah Piper; 12 great grandchildren; Carolyn Casey of Kansas City, MO; two sister in-laws:  Ramona Bullington of Marshall, MO, and Helen Bullington of Rockville, MD; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

          Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, December 2, 2017, at Pitts Chapel with Bro.’s Mike Bruce and Gayland Lightfoot officiating.  Burial will follow at Flemington Cemetery Flemington, MO.  Music will be provided by Lisa and Brett Jarvis, and the Southside Missionary Baptist Church Choir.  Visitation will be held Friday, December 1, 2017, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the funeral home.  Online condolences may be made at:  Memorial contributions are asked to the Southside Missionary Baptist Church Bolivar, MO.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Pitts Chapel Bolivar, MO.
